I haven't posted for awhile here and I apologize for that omission. Even my birthday had to take a back seat to my incarceration at the hospital that took up two weeks of this month trying to figure out what was wrong with my health.
Enough said.
However I was drawn to a unfolding drama in those two weeks concerning a rather in-your-face situation that has gathered the national spotlight recently.
Namely gay marriage in Colorado.
It took the form of House Speaker Mark Ferrandino, (D-Denver), kissing his "life partner" after a controversial passing of civil unions in the state. We could rehash the age-old arguments here, but that is not the point. The point is we have long reached the "evil being called good, and good being called good", and can view it as a End Time/Last Day milestone at which we should be looking fearfully to God's judgement. A good read of Revelation in the Bible is of order to the unlearned.
We knew this day was coming, and I submit that the only thing that different is now the desire of such individuals to rub the face of those who actually define marriage traditionally. I would say that if this were a game of one upmanship the other team (decidedly) have no desire to be inclusive or seeking comparative equality (their words not mine) in displaying their innate discuss of any who would gainsay them.
They are much like a drunk who just raped your 13 year old child (either sex) and then claim "so what?"
The difficulty for others of the differing mindset is not to hate, retaliate, abuse, or promote violence toward such evil, and evil it is to any who really seek higher ground. And as we rush headlong into the End Of The Age we are in definite need of higher ground.
And yes I do realize to the vast majority these words will fall on deaf ears. So be it.
God come soon.
