It is a sad day to witness that there are Americans that deride and make a very loud clamor and disdain for things of faith. And this in a "Christian" nation.
Or is it one still?
That question is dutifully asked as the machinations of many highly visible people in the fatally broken "entertainment" industry sound off on those very issues to any and all who would hear.
So what is America doing about this assault on the tenets of faith? Especially to a class of people who have a readily available "bully pulpit" to demean and trivialize those things? Hardly a thing it seems, because they are so used to this sort of characterization of faith. Even their own.
And let us be clear: this is a gross profaning of our God, of our faith in Him, and the polluting of the very principles this country was founded on. But who cares as long as we get our food stamps right? America is changing. And in this lies our own demise or our resurgence as a nation. We must rebuild the foundations that we once knew or else all is lost. Christ died and resurrected just so that we would have an advocate before the throne of God, and a sure redemption in Him.
That is no small thing. And many of us cherish that gift.
We must first understand the nature of the beast in order to slay it, in our own lives, the lives of our children, and in (and for) our country, it is just that important. So I enjoin you to "stay the course" and live your faith. In doing just that you bear testimony of that faith. Rest assured it will not silence the outspoken derision of the world, nor is our faith intended to do that. But it IS simply to bear testimony of our God.
So remember that this is God's most holy week, the remembrance of His Son. Are you going to listen to the voices of the profane, or let it "passover" into oblivion where it belongs?
It's up to you.
God bless America
