The Winds Of Change

Here's a quote from a piece done by left-wing magazine New Republic by former Obama campaign staffer Chris Hughes and leftist writer Franklin Foer. Here it is in part:
The truth is that most of the big issues that are going to make a difference in the life of this country for the next thirty or forty years are complicated and require tough decisions, but are not rocket science. We know that to fix our economy, we've got to make sure: that we have the most competitive workforce in the world, that we have a better education system, that we are investing in research and development, that we've got world-class infrastructure, that we're reducing our health care costs, and that we're expanding our exports. On issues like immigration, we have a pretty good sense of what's broken in the system and how to fix it. On climate change, it's a daunting task. But we know what releases carbon into the atmosphere, and we have tools right now that would start scaling that back, although we'd still need some big technological breakthrough. So the question is not, do we have policies that might work? It is, can we mobilize the political will to act? (Read the whole article here)
Where to start with this pontificating garbage, for that is what it is!

1.The truth is that most of the big issues that are going to make a difference in the life of this country for the next thirty or forty years are complicated and require tough decisions, but are not rocket science.

This from a man who declares we need to fix our economy, but has been the greatest destroyer of the same. This from a man who has sworn to protect this country and yet has grandiosely failed miserably in that function as well, can you say Benghazi? Who has claimed to famously to have a "transparent" government, yet to this day it is clouded in innuendo, obfuscation, partisanship, and the breaking flagrantly constitutional law. He has failed, purposely, the intelligence test.

2. We know that to fix our economy, we've got to make sure: that we have the most competitive workforce in the world, that we have a better education system, that we are investing in research and development, that we've got world-class infrastructure, that we're reducing our health care costs, and that we're expanding our exports.

All these criteria were in place until Obama became president. And these not just areas that effectively fix our economy, but the nation as a whole. There has been a concerted effort to "dumb down" our society since the establishing of the NEA. The national IQ of the public has grown less. Research and development must by affiliation follow suit. And quite frankly Mr. Obama, we already have a "world class" infrastructure. And the last two the US has ceded leadership in exportation and health to the asian markets decades ago.

How many of us remember the "Made in...." labels of yesteryear and today of myriads of products we buy everyday?

3. On issues like immigration, we have a pretty good sense of what's broken in the system and how to fix it.

That is a bald faced lie. The Obama administration of "fixing" the problem is not to enforce immigration law whatsoever, hand out a welfare check, give illegal voting rights to expand the Obama reach, and then give them guns. A fix? Only if you want to marginalize this country, and he's done fairly well so far.

4. On climate change, it's a daunting task. But we know what releases carbon into the atmosphere, and we have tools right now that would start scaling that back, although we'd still need some big technological breakthrough.

Were you aware that Obama sits on the board (voting member) of the ONLY organization in the country that issues "carbon credits" to companies in America? They are not yet required by law, as they were voted down in the House once before. But the issue is not dead by any means. It is the mechanism to put the squeeze on manufacturers to bankroll the government and Obama and friends.

And is this all part of a plan to "fundamentally change America" like Obama promised? I will let his own words tell you!

So the question is not, do we have policies that might work? It is, can we mobilize the political will to act?

God help us, God bless America!
