Many here are lost within the darkness, some by desire, and some who lack understanding, and some who stand desiring to know God, to be in the light, to escape the darkness all around them. These are the ones God places on the path of light, that we may minister the goodness of our Lord, for we are His.
Understand what you are called to do. First we must deny ourselves, that mortal man who is lost and afraid, then humbly take up our crosses knowing God will show us how to carry the burden, to meet the need of discipleship, and to be His in truth. He will show us "how" of this Walk Of Faith.
Then we can follow Him in truth, and in adoration (Luke 9:23).
And this is how we can be adopted back into the Divine, this is how we can grab God's hem of His robe and never let go, and this is how we can live forever, eternal and greatly loved. God awaits those who have eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts that understand the love, the joy, the profound peace, and the glory of walking with God.
Remember whose you are, in Christ.
We must work to make our election sure (defined and real), and his we can only do in following Christ. But know you will be tested at every step along the way, in this Walk Of Faith.
It tells us in James 1:2-4 (KJV) that:
"My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."It is not that God ignores the fact that this is a fallen world, but rather that He uses it to teach His children, that they should be"perfect and entire, wanting nothing". This holds a great promise, that even our trials and temptations in life can draw us closer to God, nearer, and complete in Him.
This is why we the saints of God, if we choose to be His saints, lose nothing in being challenged to sin, to be molded by the potter's wheel into the perfect likeness of God's Son, Jesus Christ, if so be it that we follow Him on this road of life.
There is only one power in the world, though Satan would like you to think of him as being a power, opposite and just as potent as God. But Satan is a liar, in that he can only do anything if you give him the access into your life. Without your agreement to sin, he can do nothing.
So how do we assure our salvation and election through Christ? By being the light at all times. To use the solution that is embedded into every temptation, every wrongful desire, and the need to be part of this fallen world. How so?
God says:
"For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not [a]adjusted and [b]adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to [c]a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently." 1 Corinthians 10:13 (Amplified)What we need to do is take the solution God gives when we are faced with sin and it's temptations that are in this world. What is spoken of here is how to be "perfect and entire, wanting nothing"of the previous passage. God ALWAYS gives an answer on how to triumph over sin in your life.
And again it means to walk in the light. If you always take God's answer to a problem, then you are walking in the light, as the darkness of the evil that is trying to come into your life, can not do so because the light of God's answer to the temptation.
Now you know why God says we are "more that conquerors" of the passage: "Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us." Romans 8:37 (Amplified). And this we should desire and strive for, the perfection that God gives us by us being the light and unreachable by sin.
Be blessed, be loved and be at peace. May the light of God's glory and presence fire the brilliance of your souls. You are greatly loved.
