God, He's In There

Back in the day, when I had to walk 20 miles to school in the snow, uphill, both ways...

Ok, ok...Seriously there used to be a commercial for a well known television manufacturer whose slogan was 'The quality goes in, before the name comes on'. In those days, televisions used vacuum tubes and required a few minutes to "warm-up'' before the picture came on. I'll spare you from the history/technology lesson on how things changed from then to now.

And yes, I've mentioned this commercial's slogan a few times previously.

Unless you allow yourself the time and effort allowing Holy Spirit to deposit God's Word into Your Spirit and spend time worshiping Him, you won't manifest any discernible difference from the world. We are changed from the inside out as God's Word becomes a living part of us and we are also made more like Him in His Presence. 

Hopefully sooner rather than later, you become so full of God's Word you begin to share it, speak it often, thereby enabling God's creative power to continue fulfilling His Purpose here. 

Here's a thought, because we will have to give an account for every idle word we speak: make that a short story. Speak God's Word every chance you get!

So here is another consideration, why are you putting Jesus back in the grave? Or, have you simply left Him there? The same Spirit who raised Jesus Christ from the dead is alive in you; He will do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ever ask or think...to the degree we allow Him to operate without restriction in our lives.

It’s ok if you want to go back to see for yourself. Mary Magdalene and the other Mary did. They were reasonably certain but still went to see. They learned firsthand He had risen and then met Him as they made their way back to tell the other disciples.

Don’t be complacent like some of the disciples were by letting someone else go check it out thinking, “I’ll believe it when they come back and tell me it has happened.” Just go and see for yourself!  Even though you aren’t where you had hoped to be, planned to be, or expected to be does not mean you’ve gone past the Father’s reach. Do not let the disappointments, failures and setbacks to become spiritual termites destroying your faith.

Challenge those thoughts; dispute those voices that tell you it’s never going to get any better it’s only going to get worse. Don’t think you’re any better than Jesus Himself who was tempted in the desert when He was at His weakest point. 

We overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of Our Testimony. Let your word be His Word. Speak God’s Word every opportunity you can to bring the purpose for which He sent it to be established.
