Looks v. Personality

Well, it really doesn't matter for how long you stay single, if you are choosing wisely and looking wisely for that partner. The wait is totally worth it if at the end you'll end up having by your side the woman God chooses for you (this goes for everyone). Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder, lets say that beauty is not as important, but attraction is for sure.

 It doesn't matter how the person looks, but in order for a romantic relationship start to take place, there HAS to be attraction, of any sort, physically, emotionally, etc. So, what happens when attraction remains as just that, attraction? Well, nothing else grows. It is impossible to develop emotional roots and attachment if no other bonding is taking place (a relationship can't be developed if emotional attachment doesn't occur, among other things of coarse).

This means that a pretty face can be just a pretty face, and that's it. Obviously not enough. (I have met plenty of good looking men, and many have just been that.. good looking men. Have met guys that lets say they haven't been "my style or taste", but I've clicked with them for them having amazing personalities, among other great qualities. I've been able to discover those great qualities in guys I haven't been attracted to by sharing with them and spending time with them in the friend zone.

For sure, there's people that haven't given other people a chance, because they haven't been physically attracted to the person at first, and its fair as well. I'll admit I've done it too.) If someone doesn't want to give you a chance and get to know you, then that's awesome. You can move on faster to another person that will be willing to give you a chance.

And yes, those who only look for good looks, will be disappointed over, and over, and over again.

Though you are talking about a whole different subject (for you to get to know someone), you do have to get a "taste" of that person. Of coarse, getting a "taste" of someone or getting to know someone doesn't mean people should or have to get physical.

Again, if people are looking to have a meaningful relationship with a meaningful someone, then you gotta be smart, intelligent and wise to find that.. if you want it to last in that case. after you find someone you can see a future with and both work towards it with integrity before God and mutual respect in the process, kisses are one of those sweet and lovely benefits. (Then other benefits come with marriage.)
