Inside And Outside

We as human beings have a life that expresses outside and inside. This happens for people to varying degrees. You will find some people so extroverted that you begin to wonder if they will ever be quiet. Then there are others that are so introverted that when they do speak you nearly jump out of your skin because it is so unexpected.

People live their lives either inside or outside.

Faith is the same way. It is either an inside aspect of your life, meditating on the goodness of God, or a more dynamic faith seen by all in your everyday living. Again for the proper balance, it should be both, dynamic and alive as it touches the lives of others as well as a deep aspect of your private life of meditation and prayer

We can see this in the life of Jesus, who at times went away from the clamoring masses that were always present, seeking a boon or favor from Him. And then again in the miracles He performed for that selfsame group of people seeking remedy. Christ lived His faith outwardly and inwardly, and He is our example.

Christ left His disciples and the throngs of people so He could spend time in renewal with God. We at times need that same healing balm of intense time with God so He can heal us, teach us, give us rest and, of course, renewal. We need to be RE-NEW at times so that our spiritual fountains won't run dry.

It is not an option but a need, to be ONLY in God's presence that we can carry on and find our way.

But like Christ, we have a mission in life. A person of faith ALWAYS has a calling on their lives. It may be to pastor a church, teach children at school, or even just being a mother or father to their children. It doesn't matter what your called to do, but do realize that when you follow Christ, God always has something that He has prepared you to do with your life.

This is most definitely an outward testimony of faith.

So the proper dynamic of life reflects this principle. Time with God for your healing and renewal, and the giving on one's self in the plan God has for your life. Faith is inside and outside in all that we say, do, think, and feel, when we are His.

As God's children we become the workers in the fields of His Great Harvest which in turn means ther are times of rest so that we may continue the work fresh and renewed.

So when you are assailed with doubts about what you are to do, and we all hit that place in life, just know that God has a purpose for your life. He will show the path to follow, the one for your own relationship with Him and the one He wishes for your life of service.
