Politics Of Color

Being a person who is Black, Hispanic, Irish, 2 tribes of Native American (Qawpaw, Crow) and Somoan, so I have a unique life view. My father used to say only that he was "American" and I agree. 

Race is not a political football to be used to "win" some sort of points. But then politics is not a game.

But we have seen and experienced the most divisive presidential administration ever in our history. It has become so bad that even those of color (any color) are backing away from Team Obama so as not to get painted with his brush. Below are just some of the comments about Obama:

I was not even going to write a piece on this. I'm not into commenting on sideline shows. But yes, I was offended by Joe Biden who seems to be perennially with a foot in his mouth. There are two things here, a white man doing a southern accent (and badly) and then making a comment that is thoroughly out of line. But it is not the first time Mr. Biden has slipped on the slippery divide of what can be considered, and shoule, a racist point of view.



What we begin to understand is that Obama never addresses the "gaffs" of his own administration. We begin to understand an underlying penchant for obfuscation: To obscure or mislead. So does the politics of race (color) work? In a word, from a man of many colors, no!
