The Un-American President

When considering who to vote for this coming November, think long and hard about your country, your family, your job, and what you truly think are important issues for the nation.

I have an uncle who is a Democrat and he always votes for them. I have tried over the years to get him to see the differences of the Democratic party of yesteryear to the one of today. However he still votes Democrat.

I was listening to the news today as they discussed the present dirty tactics being used so far in this election. But when discussing the outright falsehoods of the Obama re-election campaign, one of the pundits said something that reflects this administration.

That President Bush allowed the swift boat ads against Senator Kerry, and did nothing about them. And also that Romney needed to stop whining regardless of the lies and the attempt to redefine who he is to the voting public. Now this was how the pundit scoffed at Carl Rove (who brought up the 'lies' issue), Carl was President Bush's Senior Adviser and KNOWS how Bush's election campaigns were run.

There are a few glaring problems with that previous assertion/statement concerning Bush and the so--called false accusations:

1. President Bush never personally addressed the issue in the campaign he ran
2. These were men who were actually there, and had highly personal contact with the circumstance and it's history
3. The ads were vetted (verified) and that the allegations against Kerry were true

Now taking that same set of criteria concerning Obama and his re-election campaign, we see some not-so-equal differences:

1. Obama himself personally is spearheading the efforts to discredit Romney
2. That Obama campaign can not substantiate any of the allegations made about Romney's time at Bain Capital
3. The facts have been checked (even by liberal news outlets) and were found to be lies

When someone espouses over and over again unfounded lies about you, even to the measure it has been intimated (quite vocally) that Romney is a felon, wouldn't you address the issue fully? That to me is not "whining" but protecting your personal integrity. This is the type of man Mr. Obama is, and a sad commentary on his integrity.

The Un-American President

Remember when Obama bowed to the Saudi Arabian prince? We should have noted then what kind of man Obama was/is. You may be thinking "what? are we going down a rabbit trail"? Hardly. The President's focus should be that in interacting with the world is not to place America, either real or effectively, in a subservient role to another power. Shaking another Head of State's hand warmly, places things on an even playing field and is fine. However bowing is not!

Bowing denotes adherence to the concept that, whomever you bowed to, is whom you are subservient to. It establishes a rather troubling pecking order (especially for the President of the United States of America). That being said, we see a president who is willing to do something no other president in our country's history had ever done before, namely marginalize America. Hence the reason I say this president is un-American.

And also proves, to me at least, that Obama doesn't think too highly about this country, except for personal gain. Is that a man to whom you wish to give the job of protecting our country and our vital interests? If he does not protect the USA abroad, especially it's standing in the world and it's prestige, what will he do if he has another chance to destroy our national pride even more?
